Cape Blanco
The Cape Blanco site is located on the United States Coast Guard facility at the Cape Blanco
Lighthouse, just north of Port Orford, Oregon.
Earthsafe Contractors providing the drilling expertise for the installation of the
deeply buried, drilled braced monument. The monument consists of a vertical
galvanized pipe mounted in non-shrink grout in a 4.5" diameter hole
drilled to about 40' deep, laterally stabilized by 4 additional rods
welded to the top of the monument, each anchored 40' deep (minimum), 4.5" to
4.75" diameter holes.
