Goldendale, WA
The Goldendale site is located on the Goldendale Observatory facility, located northwest of
Goldendale, Washington. Washington State Parks and Recreation provided permission to
install the continously operating site on the Observatory grounds.
Earthsafe Contractors providing the drilling expertise for the installation of the deeply buried, drilled braced monument. The monument consists of a vertical galvanized pipe mounted in non-shrink grout in a 4.5" diameter hole drilled to about 40' deep, laterally stabilized by 4 additional rods welded to the top of the monument, each anchored 40' deep (minimum), 4.5" to 4.75" diameter holes.
