Pacific Beach
The Pacific Beach site is located on the United States Navy Retreat, located just north of
Pacific Beach, Washington. The United States Department of Navy provided permission to
install the continously operating site near on their retreat.
Earthsafe Contractors providing the drilling expertise for the installation of the
deeply buried, drilled braced monument. The monument consists of a vertical
galvanized pipe mounted in non-shrink grout in a 4.5" diameter hole
drilled to about 40' deep, laterally stabilized by 4 additional rods
welded to the top of the monument, each anchored 40' deep (minimum), 4.5" to
4.75" diameter holes.
